Basil, the royal aromatic

The basil is the crown of all our plates. Four thousand years earlier, India was already considering it as a sacred herb before conquering Asia and Egypt. But Italy and Mediterranean cuisine gave it the art of taste. Green, red or purple, the herb is now the mainstay of any Provencal cuisine. Although it grows in summer, you can find basil all year round on your plates. Its intoxicating smell and pictorial hues enriches our pizzas, focaccias and the restaurant’s signature dish,  the “Babbo mio” spaghetti.
